Celebrating Bonds of Love & Friendship at Ranch Montessori

We’re excited to share the news about a heartwarming celebration for our Ranch Montessori Families—Friendship Day! Falling on February 14th, Friendship Day is a time to celebrate the bonds of love and friendship that make our community so unique and welcoming.  

Our main participants? Our adorable students, of course! But wait, there’s also a crucial supporting role for you, the parents and family members. Your donations of art supplies and assistance during the event will make Friendship Day all the more special for our little learners. 

At Ranch Montessori, our ethos lies in helping children develop lifetime social, physical, emotional, and spiritual attitudes that lay a solid foundation for a socially responsible adulthood. Friendship Day is designed to foster just that and much more. 

Our little ones will venture into art projects themed around friendship and love. These creativity-inducing sessions nurture collaboration and social skills among children, adding to their Montessori learning experience. The hands-on creation of artwork, support from parents and staff, and the spirit of friendship promises both fun and enrichment for each child. 

In the run-up to Friendship Day, through storytime sessions, we're highlighting the essence of friendship. Our passionate guides will read books on friendship, ensuring children are immersed in the spirit of the day before it even springs to life.  

Our children will spread the love not just among friends but within the school's physical space too. The event's decor will proudly showcase the artworks created by our students, adding touches of magic to our classrooms. 

Amidst these activities, they will experience real-life applications of the Montessori values of Grace and Courtesy. These are key elements of our Montessori method, aiming to promote respect, empathy, and understanding—foundation stones for long-lasting friendships. 

Our messaging for the day is simple yet profound. "Friendship and kindness are central to building a strong community." In this spirit, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us in this celebration by donating art supplies and volunteering during the event.

By participating, our families contribute to their child's learning and strengthen bonds with our Montessori community.
